Quick Overview

This is a great addition to your aquarium environment when you want your electrical equipment to turn on and off intermittently. The unit has two circuits that operate alternately, each with its own timer to set the time your equipment remains on.

Features:
Uses CMOS digital IC for oscillation and frequency division.
Stable, accurate and reliable!
Built in fuse to protect the switch and prevent output overload from damaging the fittings.
Circuit-A and Circuit-B operate alternately and the output times can be adjusted individually.
Each timer is set from 8 sec to 8 min

Usage example:
Preventing dead current areas in the tank – Connect one pump to Circuit A and set the timer for 5 minutes. Then connect a second pump in a different area to Circuit B pump and set the timer for 5 minutes. This simulates river and ocean currents. Pump A runs for 5 minutes then switches off and pump B turns on and runs for 5 minutes. The pumps alternate continuously.
The intermittent switch can also be used for lighting systems in aquariums with special corals to alternate between different coloured lights
